The social hierarchy in the Philippines in Marxist ideology.

The Filipino society has been divided into classes that mostly focus on the socioeconomic divide and the money they have in the bank. These are the upper-class, the middle-class, and the lower-class divisions of the Philippine social hierarchy. However, our society can be viewed from a different perspective—the bourgeoisie and proletariat.

The bourgeoisie is the capitalist of society who owns the means of production and most of the wealth in our society. The proletariat is the worker who does not own means of production and must sell their labor to survive.
